The short version
CanPay is a Ghana-focused Buy Now, Pay Later payment service. An approved customer can purchase eligible goods or services from a participating merchant, make the first scheduled payment at checkout and repay the remainder according to the plan confirmed for that order.
CanPay can be used through its shopping experience and at supported in-store merchants. The app brings together merchants, products, the customer cart, order history, instalments, payment history, notifications, referrals and support tickets.
Who does what
- The merchant supplies and fulfils the goods or services.
- CanPay provides the instalment payment facility and records the repayment schedule.
- The customer must review the checkout breakdown and make payments by their due dates.
Before using BNPL
Registration alone does not guarantee approval or a particular credit limit. Your application must be completed and reviewed, and every purchase remains subject to the account status, available credit, overdue-payment checks, the minimum order value and other checkout controls shown in the app.
