Turn two-factor authentication on or off

Two-factor authentication adds a four-digit phone verification step to mobile sign-in.

Enable 2FA

  1. Open account security settings and start two-factor setup.
  2. Confirm that the masked destination is your registered phone.
  3. Enter the four-digit setup code within its validity period.
  4. After activation, sign-in can require your password followed by a second code.

Disable 2FA

The app requires the current account password before disabling two-factor authentication. If you no longer control the registered phone, contact support for identity-verified recovery rather than sharing credentials.

Code safety

CanPay staff and the support chatbot do not need your OTP. If you receive a login or setup code you did not request, do not enter or share it; change your password and report the event.
