Make an instalment payment

Open an unpaid instalment, verify the total due, use an active gateway and wait for CanPay to verify the result.

Payment steps

  1. Open Instalments and select the unpaid item.
  2. Confirm the order, merchant, due date, original amount and current total due. An overdue item may include a penalty.
  3. Choose one of the gateways currently offered by the app.
  4. Complete the provider flow. Never share a card PIN, CVV, mobile money PIN, password or OTP with a person or chatbot.
  5. Return to CanPay and allow verification to finish. Confirm the instalment now reads paid before leaving the flow.

Available methods

Gateway availability is controlled dynamically. Depending on the gateway, a payment may use mobile money or an eligible card. The options visible at payment time are authoritative; if no gateway is active, try later or contact support.

Already paid

An instalment marked paid cannot be paid again through the normal flow. If money left your account but CanPay still shows pending, do not initiate a duplicate charge; follow the payment troubleshooting guide.
