Late or missed instalments

Overdue instalments can accrue a penalty and prevent new orders until the overdue balance is settled.

What happens after the due date

An unpaid instalment whose due date has passed is marked overdue. The system can add a late penalty, and the payment screen charges the penalty-inclusive total. An overdue balance blocks new orders until it is resolved.

What to do

  1. Open the overdue instalment and review the current amount due, including any penalty.
  2. Pay through the gateway offered in the app and wait for verification.
  3. If you cannot pay or believe the due date, penalty or status is wrong, open a support ticket before attempting another purchase.
  4. Keep payment reminders and due-date alerts enabled in account settings.

Serious or repeated non-payment

The legal documents allow CanPay to suspend or terminate access for non-payment and pursue recovery steps. Support can discuss an account-specific problem, but a chatbot cannot waive a charge, change a due date or promise a recovery outcome.
